For several years, Steve Blume, owner of DirectBuy of Cool Springs, has served his local community by helping to promote ethical business practices as a member of the board of the local Better Business Bureau. On November 8th, Blume, along with Kevin Watson of Churchill Mortgage, helped the BBB welcome 14 new Accredited Businesses by presenting at the orientation.

Their presentation to the new Accredited Businesses included sharing why they are involved with the BBB and the value the BBB provides businesses in helping build trust with customers. In addition, the new Accredited Businesses were presented information on the range of services that the BBB of Williamson County provides its Accredited Businesses.
Among the many standards that all Accredited Businesses must meet are a willingness to respond promptly to any complaints received by the BBB, a method of preventing complaints by eliminating the underlying cause of any patterns of complaints, and meeting all license and bonding requirements in their location.
